Towing Information and Guidance
Before you Tow, it is important to understand what the law requires of you. Key things you should be aware of include:
Does my drivers licence entitle me to Tow my trailer or caravan in the UK?
Am I aware of the new MOT laws for towbars and electrics?
What else do I need to know about my trailer/caravan?
For help in understanding these things and more please visit the government website:
NTTA
You may also find it helpful to visit the website of The National Trailer & Towing Association which provides a wealth of information on all things Towing.
Yorkshire Towbars are members of the NTTA, and all our fitters undertake NTTA certificated training.

Caravan, Trailer and Towing Insurance
Before you start towing, Yorkshire Towbars strongly advises that you check that your Motor Insurance Policy covers you for towing your trailer or caravan.
It is also prudent to get additional insurance cover for your caravan when not being towed.
Both The Caravan Club and The Camping and Caravanning Club can provide you with information on how to make sure you are fully covered.
